Kanerna® Melamine Sound-Absorbing Flame-Retardant Panels have the below features.
With an open porosity exceeding 99%, sound waves can easily penetrate the deep interior of the foam, increasing the contact area and interaction opportunities between the foam and the material. Once inside the foam, sound waves are continuously reflected and refracted within the pores of the melamine foam's three-dimensional network structure, rubbing against the foam's inner walls, converting sound energy into heat and dissipating it, effectively absorbing and reducing noise.
It has a strong absorption capacity for mid- and high-frequency noise, effectively capturing sound waves above 200 Hz with a capture rate exceeding 95%. This allows for reduced indoor reverberation and echo, as well as mid- and high-frequency noise generated by equipment operation and traffic. It is widely used in recording studios, cinemas, karaoke bars, and other venues where sound quality is paramount.
Melamine foam is a naturally flame-retardant material, achieving B1 in construction and V0/HF-1 in industrial applications.
Anti-aging, high and low temperature resistance, moisture and mildew proof
It can be cut into various shapes (such as pyramids and wedges) or combined with other materials to flexibly adapt to different acoustic designs.
Its excellent chemical stability and corrosion resistance mean it can last over 10 years under normal use, with low maintenance costs.
Kangerna® melamine foam can pass environmental tests such as Reach, Rohs, and Halogen Report, etc.
